SHORTAGE OF SKILLED LABOUR - NEW WAYS OF RECRUITING STAFF
In this episode of BUS2Talk, Kerstin Kube-Erkens and Don Dahlmann talk to Philipp Falkenhagen, Managing Director of 24MORE, a company that specialises in recruitment for the bus and coach industry. 24MORE develops customised campaigns based on intensive customer interviews and an AI-supported database that are authentic, eye-catching and regionally tailored.
With the respective company identity and the experience of the specialist staff in focus, campaigns are created that not only advertise jobs, but also focus on the value of the work of bus drivers - for example with the "Climate thinkers are more important than climate stickers" campaign in Nuremberg.
Philipp Falkenhagen explains how companies can quickly attract attention and reach the right applicants by involving employees as "role models" in their campaigns. He also reveals why traditional radio, TV or bus advertising can work just as well as a strong presence on social networks and what the keys to the success of such campaigns are.
"The profession of bus driver is often not recognised enough, yet it is of enormous importance for climate protection and daily mobility," says Philipp Falkenhagen in the BUS2Talk podcast studio at InnoTrans 2024. He talks about how important it is to change the job image and strengthen the importance of the profession both in public and politically.
Listen in and be inspired by what new ways of recruiting can look like!
