In April 2026, Samsara will launch its Smart Compliance solution for driving and rest times applicable in the EU. The aim is to collect all relevant data in one place to help companies prepare for audits by the Federal Office of Logistics and Mobility. According to Samsara, many companies currently use fragmented systems to read tachograph data, identify violations and make corrections. This can lead to additional work and avoidable risks when drivers exceed limits without receiving timely warnings. 'Smart Compliance' brings together the management of the entire correction and coaching cycle. Preventive audio notifications in the cab help drivers take action before they exceed thresholds that could result in fines. Prior to the general market launch of the new system, Samsara is offering private previews and early access to interested parties.
