"Bus travel is only for old people" - far from it, say our panelists Florian Gärtner and Michael Ellert. "The young target group for bus tourism is already there: it's sitting in a Flixbus," says Gärtner, Managing Director at VPR. The branch still offers just a few bus tours tailored to a younger target group. Moreover, these trips need to be advertised where the target group is present. "However, bus tourism is not visible enough with its online offers"." complains Ellert, Head of Sales at TimeRide.
