THE FUTURE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT WITH POLISH HYDROGEN BUSES

In the second episode of the sixth season of BUS2Talk, Katarzyna Piec, CIO and board member of NesoBus, is our guest. In the podcast, she reveals more about the Polish hydrogen bus from NesoBus and the hydrogen value chain also developed by the company - from production and a growing network of refuelling stations to the buses themselves.

During the recording in the podcast studio at InnoTrans 2024, Katarzyna Piec compares electric and hydrogen buses in terms of range, refuelling times and dependence on climatic conditions. She talks about the challenges surrounding the availability and price of green hydrogen. Later in the episode, she discusses why a hydrogen bus can be cheaper and more environmentally friendly than an electric bus in the long term, despite higher acquisition costs, and what role the disposal of batteries plays.

Listen in and find out why Katarzyna Piec is convinced that hydrogen buses can make public mobility more flexible and sustainable, what influence subsidy programmes and tax relief have and how NesoBus intends to assert itself on the European market despite international competition.
