Bundestag Members at BUS2BUS

The Tourism Commission of the German Bundestag will be attending a bus Trade Show for the first time. On 27 April, at a discussion chaired by Jana Schimke, the 19 members of the commission will debate the outlook for the coach tour industry together with trade visitors, where under the heading Fresh Travel the focus will be on new trends, business spheres and services.
On the first day of BUS2BUS at the Future Forum the topic will be how innovative interiors, vehicle concepts and designs can attract new customers to the coach tour market and lead to a change in the industry’s image. “The journey is the reward and it begins on a coach“– this aspect will be the main topic of the discussions. In that context there will also be a focus on sustainability and health. Here too, the needs of individual audiences have changed.
On 28 April 2022, part two of Fresh Travel, which is co-organized with the VPR, will examine the impact of digitalization on the coach tour industry. It starts with an inspiration, continues with personalizing one’s trip and ends with giving ratings – a travel experience begins with booking and is part of an all-round package, not just for the younger generation.
Florian Gärtner, Managing Director of the International Association of B2B Wholesalers (VPR): “The increasingly individual needs of the audiences in question, their growing familiarity with online services and the constantly changing tourism market mean that the coach tour industry must adapt accordingly. Socially responsible and sustainable travel is a mega trend which the coach tour industry must satisfy and for which it is perfectly equipped. “

Manufacturers and Service Providers at BUS2BUS
