From 19 to 21 March 2019 the bus industry will be meeting at BUS2BUS in Berlin. The Trade Show is currently reporting significant growth. This year, around 100 exhibitors from 13 countries will be presenting their products, services and new technology. Buses can be witnessed in action on the outdoor display area in front of Hall 26, where visitors can also test them.

The German Bus and Coach Operators’ Association (bdo) will be holding its annual conference at BUS2BUS again this year. The official speech by Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure (March 19th, 11:30 in Hall 26), will be followed by a congress program that is characterized by a close integration of business and politics.

Make sure to buy your congress ticket now by purchasing it online and in advance to save up to 170 euros per person compared to the ticket office price. In addition to the bdo Congress a ticket is valid for the Trade Show, Future Forum and Future Night as well as food in the congress breaks. The congress will be held in German with simultaneous translation in English.

In Hall 26 at BUS2BUS the focus will be on creating awareness for the changes taking place in the bus industry Maks Giordano, managing director and co-founder of Kreait, will illustrate how exponential technologies are triggering a succession of new developments and will highlight the resulting opportunities for companies (March 19th). On day two, Clare Jones, CCO of what3words, will present the ’world’s first language-based geo-referencing system’. During the three-day event exhibitors, trade show visitors, congress participants and startups will be sharing their ideas. Topics will include digitalization in day-to-day business environments, smart cities and smart countries, and looking beyond national borders.

This year BUS2BUS is expanding its program of networking events. BUS2Connect, a free networking event, will kick off on March 20th, 2019. Startups, manufacturers/suppliers and young entrepreneurs are invited to meet in a relaxed atmosphere where they can exchange experiences and talk about challenges and new ideas for the bus industry.

After the Trade Show closes at 5:00 p.m. the meeting point is in front of the entrance to Hall 26. Then a guided bus tour of Berlin’s technology scene in an MAN (Neoplan) Skyliner will be taking place. The tour will be followed by a dinner and networking party that Starts at 6:45 p.m. at the VW We Space, Unter den Linden 17A, 10117 Berlin.
