After successful stops in numerous international markets, the roadshow is returning to Berlin. BUS2BUS invites you to the finale of the international Digital Roadshow on 19 February 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (CET). Free registration is now available online. The event will be held in German and English.

The free live-streamed finale is aimed at decision-makers, industry professionals, and experts in the bus and mobility sector. It marks the end of the international series and the kick-off of BUS2BUS 2026: the Mobility Trade Show.

This digital event brings together leading figures from the worlds of business, politics and futurology. Participants will receive a well-founded assessment of current market developments, regulatory frameworks, and future technological topics in bus mobility, presented in both German and English.

Kerstin Kube-Erkens, Director of BUS2BUS, provides a comprehensive overview of BUS2BUS 2026. She demonstrates how the mobility trade show responds to current industry trends, introduces the program, exhibitors and formats, and outlines the concept behind the fifth edition of the event. This gives participants an early indication of the topics, innovations and market impulses that will be featured at BUS2BUS.

Christiane Leonard, Managing Director of the German Bus and Coach Operators’ Association (bdo), discusses the challenges currently facing bus operators. She discusses the political framework conditions and outlines the political priorities of BUS2BUS 2026. This provides companies with valuable information on which to base their strategic decisions against the backdrop of regulatory developments.

Topics that will shape the future of the industry

Dr Stefan Carsten, Futurist, Head of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board and Curator of the BUS2BUS Future Forum, presents the main topics of the Future Forum. These include the future of energy and drive systems, mobility as a service, demand-oriented mobility, artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility, sustainable tourism and transformation and change in the bus industry. Particular focus will be given to autonomous driving and its significance for public transport and social participation in rural areas. Participants will thus gain a concise overview of the key issues facing the industry in the future.

Maximilian Rohs, Director of Infrastructure & Mobility at PwC Germany, will present a long-term strategic outlook. He will outline how bus mobility could develop in Germany and Europe by 2040, analyse current trends, and present prospects for companies, cities, and regions.

Dialogue, interaction and direct exchange

Zackes Brustik, a sustainability evangelist and podcast host, will moderate the event. Participants in the livestream will have the opportunity to submit questions and actively participate in the discussion.
