BUS2BUS 2026: Call for Speakers – Clear the Stage for Tomorrow's Mobility
BUS2BUS is calling for participants for its 2026 stage program. Suggestions for topics related to mobility and future technologies can be submitted until 31 December 2025.
BUS2BUS, the business platform and trend barometer for the bus and supplier industry in Germany and Europe, will open its doors again in Berlin from 15 to 16 April 2026. The stage program is looking for specialist contributions from experts in business, politics, research and product development. The call for speakers is now open, and the application deadline is 31 December 2025. The stage program provides impetus for the industry, highlights economic and social aspects of mobility, showcases the state of the art in innovative drive technologies and discusses the use of digital tools for the bus industry.
Central platform for knowledge transfer
With the Future Forum and other program areas, BUS2BUS is creating a central platform for the exchange of ideas on innovative drive systems, digital services, sustainable concepts and social trends. In 2024, more than 120 international speakers presented their ideas there – 97 percent of trade visitors rated the content as ‘very good’.
Voices from the industry
The relevance of these formats is also emphasised by Dr Britta Oehlrich, Managing Director of vhh.mobility: "The BUS2BUS Future Forum is the perfect opportunity to get in touch, exchange knowledge and build networks. In times of great challenges, the industry needs to pull together – and nowhere is this better achieved than at BUS2BUS."
The event is not only regarded as a knowledge platform, but also as a meeting place with a special atmosphere. Bilal Zafar, founder of tech companies and professional speaker, describes his impression of the last BUS2BUS as follows: ‘An inspiring atmosphere in a great Berlin location, an interested audience and exciting exhibitors – the event was a complete success.’
Key topics for 2026
In 2026, the stage program will focus on a wide range of highly topical issues. The opportunities and challenges of new energy and drive technologies, the role of Mobility-as-a-Service for a sustainable future, and concepts for demand-oriented mobility in urban and rural areas will be discussed. In addition, the potential of artificial intelligence and autonomous mobility will be in the spotlight, as will the question of how flexible and digital mobility services will shape Generation Z. Other focal points will include sustainable tourism, strategies for actively shaping transformation and change in the bus industry, and the social and political significance of buses, the latter in cooperation with the German Bus and Coach Operators’ Association (bdo e.V.).
