International busplaner Sustainability Award presented
At BUS2BUS, 12 winners and 3 special award recipients demonstrate how the bus industry of tomorrow is driving innovation, sustainability and progress – delivering genuine added value for the sector.
Sustainability has long been an integral part of mobility. It is no longer a topic for the future, but a living reality. The industry is demonstrating how innovation, technology and environmental awareness go hand in hand today and are shaping the mobility of tomorrow.
The International busplaner Sustainability Award 2026, presented on the eve of BUS2BUS in Berlin, once again sends a clear signal of this. The trade journal busplaner has now, for the seventh time, honoured companies whose solutions are actively shaping the future of the bus industry.
In a festive setting, representatives from industry, transport operators and tourism came together, whilst the industry’s most innovative projects took centre stage.
Behind each entry was more than just a product – it was about solutions that conserve resources, reduce emissions and are economically viable at the same time.
The winners were selected by a jury of industry experts and representatives from HUSS-VERLAG. In addition to the degree of innovation, the jury assessed, above all, practical feasibility and sustainable added value for the entire industry.
Rainer Langhammer, Managing Director of HUSS-VERLAG, said at the awards ceremony: “We are delighted to once again be honouring innovative products and concepts in twelve categories and three special categories at this year’s IBPN Award Night, which our trade fair visitors – ideally – will also be able to see at BUS2BUS straight away. It is encouraging to see how forward-looking the bus industry is becoming.”
