BUS2BUS – April 2021 restart of the bus industry in Berlin

Berlin, 25 May 2020 – Different halls, a shorter duration (two days) and an event featuring virtual elements: that is the response of BUS2BUS to the coronavirus crisis, which impacts the bus industry and trade fairs in equal measure. Next year’s BUS2BUS will take place from 14 to 15 April in Halls 18, 19, 20 and the Palais am Funkturm. The attractive cluster of halls on the northern section of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds is a prestigious setting for an entrance, and features halls bathed in natural light as well as ideal options for outside displays.

“This restart brings many opportunities with it for a creative response. The next BUS2BUS will be more compact, topical and more innovative than ever“, says Kerstin Kube-Erkens. The senior product manager for Messe Berlin sees the crisis as offering a chance: “The current situation has led to innovations and digital solutions finally making their mark in many sectors and new partnerships coming to fruition. Since our 2017 debut under the slogan ’Next Stop the Future‘ we have been focusing on combining experience with fresh ideas. We are optimistic that as a one-stop business platform we can make a strong contribution to restarting the bus and supply industry in April 2021.”

The coronavirus crisis has acted as a catalyst. This is already becoming clear in many areas of life. The dynamic developments affecting the bus industry will be key to the event’s concept in April 2021 and no doubt will influence the trade fair itself, where the integration of virtual elements will play an important role.
