Theme: Tourism

A growing number of EU Member States implement minimum wage regulations – thus creating bureau- cratic hurdles. This has had a negative impact, espe- cially on small and medium-sized enterprises. On the other hand, real fears exist when it comes to Eastern European competitors from low-wage countries. Other hurdles facing bus tourism include the revised EU Package Travel Directive and the trade tax on hotel purchases.

Where is the journey going in the EU? How can we reduce bureaucracy while maintaining fair competition?

Impulse lecture: „The future of bus tourism – holidays beyond borders? Or fight against the windmills of bureaucracy?“
