BUS2BUS is expanding together with the public transport market
• Increased floor space
• Bus show on the outdoor display area
Berlin, 16 July 2018 – BUS2BUS is gathering pace and at the next event will feature increased floor space, an extra outdoor display area and even more exhibitors. In their latest budgets, German and European policymakers have put great emphasis on promoting public transport, and as a result it is becoming a very attractive market for all players involved. From 19 to 21 March 2019, combining an exhibition, congress and Future Forum, this unique event will gather the industry on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, where established vehicle manufacturers including Alexander Dennis Limited from Scotland and Iveco Magirus AG will be presenting their innovations.
BUS2BUS is relocating to a larger hall, with floor space totalling more than 10,000 metres. Another feature is the adjacent outdoor display area. The industry now has more space to demonstrate its forward-looking innovations, and will have the best possible setup for exchanging first-class ideas. The range of new bus hardware on show will include emission control systems from suppliers such as the Baumot Group, as well as water supply and wastewater treatment systems from infrastructure manufacturers such as Vogelsang Servicetechnik. Electronic components for interconnecting and managing public transport systems are becoming increasingly important, which is why sensor manufacturers such as Sitron will also be displaying their products.
The international appeal of BUS2BUS and the European market’s potential has attracted Via, a ride-sharing company from the US, to Berlin. Until now they have been operating in Chicago, New York and Washington D.C. For a transport company in search of more customers, offering easy digital access to its services is not enough. Improving passenger comfort is also a factor. That is why the Comfort & Design segment is expanding at the show, which is where Eleather, an upholstery company from the UK, will be showing its leather collection specially designed for buses.
Throughout the summer exhibitors can take advantage of our special Early Bird rates, providing they book a stand no later than 31 October 2018.
Combining an exhibition, congress and Future Forum, BUS2BUS in Berlin represents a globally unique meeting place for debating new business approaches and for building new, cross-sectoral partnerships, and from 19 to 21 March 2019 will be taking place for the second time. BUS2BUS celebrated its successful debut in 2017, attracting more than 1,300 visitors from 21 countries and 73 exhibitors from 13 countries. 98 per cent of exhibitors rated it as a “good” to “very good” innovation platform for the German market.
